The Palms of Manasota is America's first gay and lesbian retirement community. POMCA consists of 21
homes which comprise the Phase I section of our community, completed in 1999. Palms of Manasota, Inc. is
currently building villas in Phase II. As quoted from the Gay Financial Network: " ... for those who live in it,
The Palms (of Manasota) is a very special place indeed." We are located in Palmetto, Florida, which is south
Tampa Bay between St. Petersburg and Sarasota.
